When the light hits half dome just right, the face turns a warm pink. One evening I stood in the Merced River hoping for this opportunity. As luck would have it fleeing the large flock of photographers standing on the bridge paid off with this wonderful image. To connect further with the environment this piece is mounted on wood with small touches of hardware and a jar of stones.
